| 02.11.2007 CAPACITY-CROWD PARADISE LOUNGE SHOW; $50 DONATION TO SAVE DARFUR | ||
Thanks very much to all fans for coming out to our first headlining Boston show in a few months. It was an amazing turnout and an amazing vibe of people dancing and helping us sing our songs. Most importantly, though, through your generousity we have made a donation of $50 on behalf of Clarias fans to the Save Darfur Coalition. This was a result of your donations and a match by Clarias contributing $1 for every item sold at the show this past Friday night. In short, a situation similar to the Rwandan Genocide of the 1990's is taking place in Darfur presently and can be stopped with your help.
We urge you to investigate, seek more information, and contribute here: Lastly, thank you to the Paradise for their help in keeping Friday night an 18+ show. Recently the city of Boston has passed an ordinance limiting 18+ events to a 10:45PM curfew. Though we join the city in seeking to keep public safety the highest priority, please let them know this is not the way!

The Asylum presents a variety of live rock and is one of the best places to hear live music in Portland. The event will take place on Friday December 2nd. Come check out the show, support the band, and raise funds for a great cause. All proceeds go towards Maine Heating Assistance and Gulf Coast Disaster Relief.
